Short version: VeggieTip is a simple recipe website. We don't have user accounts, we don't run advertising, and we don't sell or share any data.

1. Who is responsible

The person responsible for this website under the GDPR (DSGVO) is named in our Impressum. You can contact us at hello@veggietip.com.

2. Server log files

When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically records technical data in server logs: your IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page, your browser type and operating system. This is needed to deliver the website securely and reliably (Art. 6 (1) f GDPR). Logs are deleted automatically after a short period.

3. Cookies & local storage

VeggieTip does not set tracking cookies. The site may use your browser's local storage only to remember small conveniences (for example, ticked-off ingredients). This data never leaves your device.

4. Fonts

To display the site's typography we load fonts from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser connects to Google's servers and transmits your IP address. 5. Contact by email

If you email us, we store your message and address only to answer you. We delete correspondence once your request is fully dealt with, unless legal retention periods apply.

6. Links to other websites

Our pages may link to other websites. We have no influence over their content or privacy practices.

7. Your rights

You have the right to information about your stored data, its correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object. You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority.
