Mieke's Chili (10-12 pers)
12 oz (340 gr) Ground meat
2 med onions (chopped)
1 small Jalapeno or red pepper (diced)
1 package McCormick original Chili mix
1/2 package Old El Paso Taco seasoning mix
2 cans (12 oz) diced tomatoes (with green chilis optional)
2 cans small red beans
2 cans black beans
16 oz (450 gr) tomato sauce
5 cloves garlic (diced)
Pinch brown sugar
Fry onions and garlic in oil until soft. Add meat and spices. Cook until fragrant. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Then simmer for at least 3 hours. Serve with sour cream, dice grean onions, cornbread or cheese quesadilla's.
